Citizens for Peace and Justice
Citizens for Peace and Justice is a group of people who came together in Medford, Oregon, in March 2003 as a result of our concern over the pending US invasion of Iraq and our desire to respond to this in a meaningful way. Networking through video production, and media exposure, not only reinstated Rheas caregiver levels at DHS, but opened the doors to engage the disabled population Dude’s most notable accomplishment is HB 3268, which took effect July 1, 2006. HB 3268, AKA the Dude Bill, requires that people whose state assistance is being reassessed receive at least 30 days notice and at least 14 days advance notice of the evaluation procedures to be used.
