October 15 Camp Meeting
There will a debriefing meeting and pizza party for all 2006 Overnight Camp counselors, elders and other staff Sunday, October 15, 2-4 pm at Round Table Pizza, Medford Center, west of Safeway, south of Rite-aid, behind Tinsel Town.

October 22 Multicultural Association Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Multicultural Association of Southern Oregon will be Sunday, October 22, 4-7 pm at the Congregational Church, 1801 E. Jackson in Medford. The meeting will include a performance by our own Ballet Folklórico Ritmo Alegre, presentations by foreign exchange students, a slideshow documenting our 2006 activities and an open meeting identifying and discussing multicultural issues in our community. Please bring a dish for the International Potluck.

November 17 International Education Week Open House
As part of the observation of International Education Week the Multicultural Association and AYUSA Student Exchange Program will host an open house in the large meeting room of the Medford Public Library 4-7 pm Friday, November 17. Come and meet foreign exchange students from around the world including Palestine, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tunisia, Iraq, the Netherlands, Brazil, Romania and Mexico and learn about other cultures and countries. The students will exhibit display boards and Power Point presentations about their countries. If you are a high school student you can learn how to apply to be a foreign exchange student and families can learn how to become a host family.
